Belly Button Love

From where you've come from
From where you go

There is this
Where infinity flows

Is the most spectacular
Dark, and mysterious beginning that never was

It's happening
Without effort

It's happening now
By the time you've read this

It's already grown
The past is dead

It's already shifted
Your perception is in your head

From the center of your being
From the womb that bore you

Transferring friction
To electrical pulses

Transmuting love
To a different dimension

Hollow are the tubes
That fueled your igniting heart

Empty are the passageways
For you've passed through many

To participate and ponder
This experience called life

This Thing Called Love

I am very clear
That the sensation
Known as a vibration
That I’m experiencing
… Is love

Mushy
Gushy
Raw
and twisted

This thing called love
Expressing itself
…Through us

This is an unedited,  original poem and recording.  This Thing Called Love first appeared  while  driving a rental hybrid car down the avenue. Most of the poetry is captured in the car like this, blinkers and all. CLICK TO LISTEN TO LAUREEN

Manzanita Tree

Swelling and throbbing
We expand to unite the remembering
These familiar sensations and vibrations remind us
That we fall in love again and again

It has been happening for a very long time sweet one of mine
For you are nothing more than me
I am nothing less…you see
Oneness is happening… us falling into divinity

You are my brother, son, friend and lover
You are my favorite tree
Weeping happens when discovering you in my reality

Royally purple, vibrantly unique, smooth and mossy you lie beneath my seat
Sitting within your limbs
I hover between your majestic embrace, holding me gracefully in this forested space

My toes touch your leaves…

I am your sister, mother, friend and lover
I am your favorite poem by the sea
Splashing in the waves of your gratitude
Hear my voice resonating in the winds

Notice my frequencies fluttering into your own rising currents
Feel my breath surrounding you
Inhaling through you and mingling within your being

Your toes touch the wetness of my sea...

So dive into your ocean
Swim deep into me
I'll take my time climbing into you, my manzanita tree

I Want Your Sleep

I want your heart
I want my head resting on it
Nestled into the hair of your masculinity

I want your eyes
I want my soul meandering inside them
Soaked into the well of your darkness

I want your hands
I want my hips between them
Framed into the skin of my femininity

I want your warmth
I want my bones surrounded by it
Comforted into the depth of your being

I want your sleep
I want my limbs twisted into it
Moved into the stillness of your silence

Blessed Precipitation

Like morning dew
It usually passes through

But when it rains
It feels like pain

Achy and panging
When lovers part

Expanding to reach the other
In this blessed precipitation

Love longing for itself
Swirling in my heart

Longing for the warmth underneath my covers
My soul sighs through these ancient utterances

Yearning and grasping
It knows nothing other

Than to crack its self open
To bemuse the fear

To let the triggering impressions go
To let this, simple, love flow

Sitting in the sprinkling,  California Drought, 2015

8 Corpses

There she stared at the 8 corpses
Lifeless and still

Scattered about within 16 feet
Straddled and poised

80 of them phalanges spread
Covered in silence with nothing said

160 from soles to crowns
Mindless with no thoughts roaming around

As if heaven had kissed those drifting souls
In this very holy spot

Seen from the eyes of this
Reflection wearing her Goth

Rainbows for Rhea

Standing up so tall
I see you shining

Beaming your love rays
Throughout my world

Emanating your rainbows
Into my universe

The green canvas you stand in front of
The cranky, grey, crumbling bark you stand on top of

The smooth blue of the sky you stand below of
The wind of the evening, you stand into that

Beautiful Goddess, you kiss the earth with your soles
You grace the trees with your gentle touch

You gallop in the velvety cushions of the silvery grasses
You meditate in the mud

I love you sweet one

I see you, in all the rainbows

Inspired by the fire of a beautiful child on a day when the mother felt heavy with the weight of the world
